1. Booking and Payment
1.1. A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of a completed booking form and a non-refundable deposit of £50.
1.2. The balance is due 7 days before the party date. Failure to pay may result in
cancellation.
1.3. Payments can be made by bank transfer.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1. The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
2.2. Cancellations made more than 14 days before the party will receive a full refund of any additional payments made (excluding deposit).
2.3. Cancellations within 14 days of the event will not be refunded, except in cases of exceptional circumstances (at our discretion).
2.4. If Game and Build Adventures Parties must cancel (e.g., due to illness or unforeseen events), a full refund will be offered, or an alternative date will be arranged.
3. Party Duration and Timings
3.1. Party sessions run for the duration booked (usually 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the package).
3.2. Set-up will occur approximately 30–45 minutes before the scheduled start time.
3.3. Clients must ensure venue access for set-up and pack-down.
4. Venue Requirements
4.1. The client is responsible for providing a suitable venue (home, hall, etc.) with
sufficient space, tables, chairs, and electrical access.
4.2. For gaming parties, a stable electricity supply and WiFi (if online gaming is
involved) must be provided.
4.3. Game and Build Adventures Parties is not responsible for delays or cancellations
due to inadequate venue conditions.
5. Supervision and Safety
5.1. Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult (usually the host
parent/guardian).
5.2. Game and Build Adventures staff are DBS-checked and trained, but do not assume
full legal responsibility for child supervision.
5.3. Equipment provided (LEGO, gaming consoles, etc.) must be treated with respect.
Clients may be liable for damage due to negligence.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1. Game and Build Adventures Parties holds public liability insurance up to £2 million.
6.2. We are not liable for injuries caused by misuse of equipment, unsupervised
children, or venue hazards.
6.3. Clients must disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or additional needs in
advance.
7. Photographs and Media
7.1. We may take photographs during the party for promotional purposes.
7.2. Written consent will be sought from parents/guardians. No child will be
photographed without prior approval.
7.3. Images will be stored securely and used responsibly in accordance with GDPR
regulations.
8. Code of Conduct
8.1. Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior towards staff or other participants
will not be tolerated.
8.2. We reserve the right to terminate a party without refund if safety or conduct
guidelines are breached.
9. Force Majeure
9.1. Game and Build Adventures Parties shall not be liable for cancellations or
disruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, power outages, health emergencies).
10. Acceptance of Terms
10.1. By confirming a booking, you agree to the above Terms and Conditions.
